Birth Doula

A doula is a trained professional who provides non-judgmental hands-on support, guidance, and evidence-based education of a family's needs and choices during the pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum phase.

MY MISSION AS YOUR BIRTH DOULA:

As your Birth Doula I will make you pregnancy, birth, and postpartum time as amazingly unique as you are. Together we can make your birth dreams come true, and I will aim to create a relaxed intimate environment for you. I will also help make you transition home as easy as possible. 

WHY CHOOSE A BIRTH DOULA? Evidence has shown that there are many proven benefits to having a birth doula by your side, even if it's just for the big day. A birth doula can lesson the chance of having a cesarean, decrease the pain during birth, lesson the duration of your labor; but most importantly a birth doula will help women feel better about their birth and themselves while also helping mothers feel more in control of their births and the outcomes. Doulas are your biggest advocate.

WHAT I PROVIDE: Get extra personal support throughout the entirety of your birthing journey. As your Doula, I promise to offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during, and after birth. I will stay in close contact in order to routinely check how you’re doing and offer anything needed. From our initial meeting all the way through your pregnancy and delivery, I take the time to get to know you, your concerns and your needs. I’m always available for you to contact me, by phone/email throughout. I will provide everything you require to make sure your experience is as calm and positive as possible.
